The Proper Hospitality Group launches the 'Feed My Kids Foundation'
As we slowly come out of lockdown, and our lives return to a new way of normal, it’s easy to forget all the incredible initiatives that took place during this time that helped to keep our communities together.
What has changed for the vulnerable?
Now business are reopening, does that naturally mean that those that couldn’t afford to feed their children now have the funds to feed them, or are they still struggling to cope? Has their situation become worse, has it got to breaking point as the help that was there for them during lockdown has now slowly gone, leaving some in an even worse predicament?
The Proper Hospitality Group wants to help and for us to help, we’re also asking you to help.
After seeing a Facebook page from an old work colleague and the amazing work she has done to support the children in her community, the team at the Proper Hospitality Group based in Stockton Heath, Warrington, moved quickly to set up the Feed My Kid Foundation, to ensure that a hot, nutritious meal can be on the table for any child, in any circumstance, for any reason.
No child at anytime should go without this fundamental right and with the correct help in place, the Proper Hospitality Group can make this happen.
The Proper Hospitality Group own & operate the Terrace Bistro in Stockton Heath and run the takeaway and delivery concepts of the Bistro Box, The Proper Treats Company and The Grill & Smoker.
To start this initiative, all credit card tips left at any of their outlets will be matched by the group and will be added to a fund to pay for all meals that are requested and provided for any child through the Feed My Kids Foundation.
The process couldn’t be easier, you can call our free number 0800 069 9649 to place your order and you will then be provided with a unique code for when you call to collect your free child/s meal. The meal will be freshly prepared for you to collect from one of two kitchen locations in Stockton Heath or Latchford at a specific allocated time.
Phil Daley, Group Head Chef at the Proper Hospitality Group has put together a tasty, nutritious kids menu that will be available from 11-6pm, 5 days a week. As the restaurants are currently closed on a Monday & Tuesday, you can pre-order a meal that can be refrigerated and consumed within a few days.
Further details will be loaded onto the Terrace Bistro social media pages over the next few days and we're due to go live for collection from next Wednesday 22nd July.

You can collect your meal/s from our Bistro in Stockton Heath, Warrington or our new kitchen in Latchford, Warrington.
We won't judge you, we won't ask your circumstance, there's no procedure to get through to qualify.
If your children are not able to benefit from a hot, nutritious meal due to any reason or circumstance then we will provide it for you.

We do however, have some strict procedures in place for everyones safety.
You must pre-book your table, we're not accepting walk-ins currently as we need to be able to manage the volume of guests in the bistro.
We've reduced our opening hours to ensure we can turn around our tables and ensure that we're able to deep clean in between service times.
We've added hand sanitising stations throughout the bistro so at key points you (& our team) are able to clean your hands.
We've reduced our table capacity to ensure we can adhere to the 1 metre plus social distancing rule, we've also added passing points to ensure your safety.
We only have one washroom so we've added a light system that will show you when the toilet is free and ready to use, we'll also make sure this is cleaned constantly throughout the day.
Gloves are available, masks are available and we'll also have clear instruction of all the above for you should you need to review. We will also take and record the temperature of each team member priot to them starting their shift.
We hope these measure will allow you to enjoy your visit to the Terrace Bistro, you (and our team) are our upmost priority.
